Film Industry ProducerK.P. kottarakara well known story writer and film producer started his film production company in the year 1956. He began his journey in the industry by distributing english and regional movies thereafter he started his own production company.
Ravi kottarakara joined his father at a very young age. He assisted his father in film production and distribution. His keen interest in cinematography and film editing lead him to become a director. He started to produce films independantly under banners like Ganesh pictures, Ganesh Productions, Jaidevi Movies and so on.
Profound knowledge, vast experience and deep interest in film making, his advises were looked for by film enthusiasts. Films produced by him has won awards and screened in international film festivals.

SINCE 1961
Chennai-based Ganesh Pictures (Since 1961), lead by Ravi Kottarakkara, is the oldest and reputed production house in India. It was set up by eminent writer-producer Shri K P Kottarakara in the South Indian Film Industry. It has produced over 80 films in Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada languages. Many films produced in the above banners have entered the national and international film festivals and won awards. Some of the most successful films which won accolades include Ee Shabdam Enathe Shbadam, Adyathe Kanmani, Dosth among other films.
