Contributions to industry
He has been responsible in suggesting major reforms to the cinematographic Act, copy right Act curbing of film piracy, finding solutions for implementing -censor board guidelines, tackling issues with regard to animal welfare board.
He got actively involved in all major discussions with the central government of India for solving all critical issues faced by film industry. He is currently the president of the two apex bodies' the film federation of India and the south Indian film chamber of commerce.
Film festivals
He has participated in most of the major international film festivals, Cannes, Berlinale, Hong kong,Toronto, Locano etc..
He was a part of the advisory committee of the film festivals conducted in several states of India including international film festival of India, Goa and was also responsible in starting some of them.
